CANBERRA ADVOCACY TOUR
The Canberra Advocacy Tour offers community leaders a unique opportunity to strengthen their advocacy skills and connect with national policymakers. This immersive experience allows participants to explore collaborative approaches to regional issues, engage in meaningful dialogue, and amplify the voices of their communities on a national stage. Through this tour, leaders gain valuable insights and build relationships that support impactful advocacy and positive change across regional Victoria and Australia.
Each year, GMCL facilitates a Canberra Tour, offering participants firsthand insight into federal governance, policy, and advocacy. This transformative experience is not included in standard program fees and requires additional investment from participants.
This year, the Canberra Tour is an additional cost of $1,500 per participant* and is not covered by program fees. We are seeking sponsorship to help subsidise costs for the 2025 cohort and invite alumni from the 2020, 2021 and 2022 cohorts who missed out due to COVID.
Your sponsorship helps remove financial barriers by subsidising attendance for current participants and alumni who missed the opportunity during the pandemic. Supporting this tour showcases your investment in informed, active citizenship and regional representation on the national stage.

Current and past participants of the Fairley Leadership Program are invited to attend the Canberra Advocacy Tour
