Community, Collaboration and Local Solutions Highlighted During Fairley Leadership Day
Participants in the 2026 Fairley Leadership Program explored the opportunities, challenges and collaborations shaping Greater Shepparton during a recent Place-Based Day across Tatura and Mooroopna. Through site visits and conversations with regional leaders, the cohort gained valuable insights into agricultural innovation, place-based leadership, community partnerships and the collective effort required to create stronger, more resilient communities.

Greater Shepparton’s Future Leaders Program brought together local young people for two days of workshops, activities, and real-world learning to build confidence, strengthen community connections, and amplify youth voices. Supported by Greater Shepparton City Council and delivered by Goulburn Murray Community Leadership, the program concluded with a graduation celebrating participants’ achievements.
