Participants spent the day building on their ideas and strategies, with a strong focus on creating meaningful and lasting impacts. The collaborative spirit and enthusiasm were palpable as everyone worked together towards common goals. Adding to the excitement of the day was the tour of Rochester which included visiting the freshly completed Silo Art in Rochester. The stunning artwork adds a vibrant touch to the community and serves as a reminder of the power of creativity in bringing people together.

The cohort extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible guest speakers: Amanda Logie from Rochester Community House, Karen Corr from Make a Change Australia, and Ash Lythgo from the Executive Presence (FF'20). Their invaluable insights into community engagement, good governance, and other critical topics provided our attendees with the knowledge and inspiration needed to drive positive change across our region.

The Fairley Leadership Program has been instrumental in shaping the future leaders of our community. The journey of the 2024 cohort has been nothing short of transformative, offering participants a unique blend of learning experiences, hands-on projects, and invaluable networking opportunities.

Throughout the year, participants have engaged in a series of intensive workshops, seminars, and community projects designed to build their leadership skills and deepen their understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our region. The program has covered a wide range of topics, including strategy and planning, economic development, community engagement, governance, and community resilience.

The 2024 journey will culminate in the much-anticipated Closing Intensive, marking the end of the program for participants. This final session will be an opportunity for reflection, celebration, and setting future goals. Participants will review their progress, share their experiences, and plan their next steps as emerging leaders ready to make a difference.

As we approach the end of the year, we remind everyone to secure their tickets for the upcoming Fairley Leadership Program Graduation. This event will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s cohort and cheer them on as they continue their journey in community leadership.
